After we apply the sealcoat, we recommend staying off the surface for at least 24 to 48 hours to allow it to cure properly. The drying time can vary depending on the temperature and humidity. Driving or walking on the sealcoat too soon can damage the surface, leaving marks or reducing its durability.

Sealcoating isn’t a fix for alligator cracking—that type of damage usually indicates deeper structural issues. Applying sealcoat over alligator cracks might improve the look temporarily, but it won’t solve the underlying problem.
